Facilities

   The Scenic City Aquatic Club is an affiliate of the Girls Preparatory School and the McCallie School.  Practices are conducted indoors at both locations.  Depending on their needs, our swimmers can train yards or meters in either pool.  Associated with both pools is a fully equipped weight room and meeting rooms. 

Scenic City meets will normally be hosted at the McCallie pool because of its larger size and greater seating capacity.  For competition, both pools feature electronic timing, a digital scoreboard, and computerized scoring.

GPS Pool - A six lane stretch pool with a bulkhead and a diving well or teaching pool with turbulence reducing lane ropes.  One lane Colorado Scoreboard and CTS 6000 used for swim meets.  Two 1-Meter Diving boards in Diving well.  State of the art Weight room with New large Cardio Section.  Access to 2 Gymnasiums, several soccer fields, and Track for our dryland programs.  Under Water Camera and DartSwim Software are also available.

The McCallie Pool -  25 yard by 25 meters with turbulence reducing lane ropes.  Our facility also has two 1-Meter boards and one 3-Meter board.  Huge State-of-the-art Weight room with Full-time strength coach.  Five Gymnasiums, indoor track, outdoor track, Indoor Climbing Center, 2 mile cross country course, and 11 Fields.  Daktronics timing system and 10 lane scoreboard.

Direction to McCallie

The Warner Park Pool - 50 meters by 25 yards/meters with turbulence reducing lane ropes.  Cross Country course and fields available for dryland practices.
